Trove Tuesday: Vale Baroness Thatcher

Considering the news of Baroness Thatcher's passing last night, I have decided to make my Trove Tuesday post today a tribute to the great Iron Lady. I am privileged enough to own a signed copy of her autobiography, and only wished I had been able to thank her in person for her inspiring career. Love her or hate her, Margaret Thatcher was a conviction politician who said what she believed and did what she said - something that seems to be lacking in Australian and UK politics at the moment.

I especially appreciate Baroness Thatcher's role as a pioneering woman in politics - she not only reached the proverbial glass ceiling, she smashed through it, with her dignity and femininity in tact.
